2016 -PAINTED DOUGH WAS BORN.

Painted Dough was born from a passion for handcrafted donuts and bold, creative flavors, officially opening its doors in 2016 as a neighborhood donut shop with a big vision. From the very beginning, Painted Dough focused on making fresh, high-quality donuts daily, combining classic recipes with modern twists. Built on a love for community and creativity, the shop quickly became known for its colorful designs, artisanal approach, and welcoming atmosphere, setting the foundation for a brand that stood out in the local donut scene.

2016 -PAVING THE WAY.

Painted Dough in Chino, CA was proud to be an award-winning staple in the Inland Empire. In 2016, we were named Best Donut in the Inland Empire, recognized for our bold flavors, creative designs, and commitment to quality. That recognition continues to drive everything we make—fresh, handcrafted donuts loved by our community.

2021   -GIVING BACK TO THE CITY.

Painted Dough proudly partnered with UCHOOZ and the Chino Police Department to launch their annual Easter and Christmas Community Toy Drive. What began as a shared heart for the city has grown into a meaningful tradition—bringing families together, spreading joy, and ensuring children in the community experience the love and generosity of the holiday season.

2022   -REMODELING IT ALL

In 2022, Painted Dough took a major step forward by completely remodeling the shop and rebranding to support continued growth and long-term success. The updated space featured a fresh, modern design that reflected the brand’s creative spirit, while the rebrand sharpened Painted Dough’s identity in a competitive donut market.

2023 - HONORED BY OUR COMMUNITY

In 2023, Painted Dough was honored as Chino’s Business of the Month, a recognition that reflects our continued commitment to quality, creativity, and serving our local community. This acknowledgment celebrates not only our donuts, but the relationships we’ve built with the people who support us every day.





2026 -EXPANDING OUR TERRITORY

As Painted Dough continues to grow, so does our reach. What began as a local favorite has expanded into a thriving brand, and by 2026, we’re proud to be extending to three locations, allowing us to serve even more communities while staying true to the quality, creativity, and consistency that define Painted Dough.
